Thursday 10 October 2013

Hi All,

We have been given the opportunity to attend Tollcross International Swimming Centre this Sunday (13th) October from 9:30-11:30am. This session is available to swordfish, sharks and A-Squad swimmers. This is a great opportunity for our swimmers to experience long course training which will greatly benefit them when entering long course competitions such as West Districts.

Masters training will change from their evening session to Sunday morning 9am to 10:30am at Kirkintilloch L.C.

Dolphins training will take place between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm on Sunday evening at Bishopbriggs.

Swimmers from Swordfish, Sharks and A-Squad who cannot attend Tollcross are invited to train 6:30pm to 8pm at Bishopbriggs.

On Wednesday the 16th October Swordfish will train from 6:30pm to 8pm.

Just to remind you for the rest of the October week swimming is on as normal for all squads.

Thanks,

Lyndsay

Swim Camp 2014

Hi All,

It's that time of year again to start thinking about swim camp 2014 and it's looking to be an exciting one with it being Scotia's 50th Birthday. Sharks and A-Squad swimmers will be given the opportunity to attend a warm weather training camp in Mallorca, Spain for 7 days from the 10th to 17th of October swimmers will have criteria set by the coaches in order to attend and only those who meet the criteria will be eligible however if you are a committed competitive swimmer you will have no concerns about attending.

The cost for this is still being calculated however will include flights, accommodation, food and two training sessions a day.

If you are interested in attending this please email lyndsay on lyndsayacameron@gmail.com before Friday 25th October to allow us to get rough numbers and finalise a cost.

We will also be organising a separate swim camp for Dolphins and Swordfish which we will give more information on within the next few months.

I look forward to hearing your response

Lyndsay
